14th January 2016 Social and Prize Giving

The Summer Prizegiving and Social to be held on 14th January 2017 will start at 1930 rather than 2000 as advertised in our programme. In addition to the Prizegiving we can enjoy the talk by two of our members as outlined below:

"From a 14 ft GP to a 70 ft ocean racing Clipper yacht, from Frensham winds to the Doldrums and hurricane force winds across the North Pacific, come and find out what it was like living at 45 degrees and sailing around the world for eleven months. Dan Wagerfield and Kate Whyatt, both GP14 sailors, will be talking about their experiences and sharing their thoughts as to what it was like to take part in the Clipper 15-16 Round the World race."

The fascinating talk and slide show will start at 1930, with the Prizegiving starting immediately afterwards at 2015pm.
