When?

Where?

Frensham Pond Sailing Club, Pond Lane, Churt, GU10 2QA

Can I come for a sail?

We offer taster sails in a dinghy that can take up to 4 people. Along with an experienced club member we will take you for a nice trip around the pond.

Do I need to book?

No need to book. There is sometimes a small que but the wait isn’t that long.

What’s the parking like?

Can be tight, but we have a good system. You may have to be patient with us.

What ages can come?

If we have a buoyancy aid that fits we can take you sailing. Generally aged 6 upwards.

Do you offer kids sailing?

We have a thriving youth section. Kids from aged 7 upwards can go out with one of our experienced youngsters to show them the ropes in one of our junior classes.

What shall I wear?

Chances of getting wet is low but not impossible so best to bring something you don’t mind getting wet.

I’m disabled and have mobility difficulties can I come?

We have a Sailability section that offers sailing specifically for those with special needs. They will very happily take you out for a sail.

I’ve never been sailing before, will that be ok?

Yes definitely, you can always watch if you aren’t too sure. Our members who take you out are very experienced and will keep you safe.

I want to learn to sail?

We offer RYA certified training courses throughout the year for ages 8 upwards. Our training team will be happy to talk you through the range of courses and even help you book on the day.

How do I join?

                We will be able to talk you through the range of membership options.

Is their food available on the day?

                Our galley is open for snacks and drinks and we have a Braai going as well.
