RYA Dinghy Show

The RYA Dinghy Show will be hosted at Farnborough Airport, and Frensham Sailing Club will be represented at stand number 63. This event provides an excellent opportunity to showcase our club to both the sailing community and the local public. We are seeking volunteers to assist over the weekend. A commitment of just one hour is sufficient. Volunteers will receive a complimentary exhibitor ticket. No prior experience is required—just enthusiasm for the club.

The event promises an enjoyable day out for all ages, offering the chance to explore various boats, connect with your class, plan a holiday, reunite with friends, or engage in some shopping. The show is unparalleled in its display of dinghies. There will also be esteemed speakers; recommended sessions include Mark Rushall on tactics and Simon Rowell on weather. Additionally, there are career opportunities within the industry, workshops such as learning to splice with Marlow, and activities like winging and windsurfing.
